NMIT tops New Zealand for course completions
The latest TEC Educational Performance Indicators show an 89.3% course completion rate, highlighting strong outcomes for learners across NMIT programmes.
Pink Shirt Week 2026 at NMIT
💗 Pink Shirt Day 💗 is an annual event in Aotearoa that aims to reduce bullying by celebrating diversity and supporting communities to be safe, welcoming, and inclusive.
💗 While Pink Shirt Day is celebrated nationally on 15 May, NMIT's campuses were awash with pink all week this year, as learners and staff across Nelson, Richmond and Blenheim came together to celebrate kindness, inclusion and belonging.
Events were held at the Nelson, Richmond and Marlborough campuses, with yummy treats up for grabs and a range of fun and inclusive activities to enjoy, including:
- Music, activations and competitions
- Rocky Road ice-cream and Pinky bar giveaways
- Pink Shirt Day group photo frame
- A draw to win a Pink Shirt Day prize pack
