Our Marlborough campus has enjoyed an amazing variety of vibrant and colourful ākonga events this semester, from Pink Shirt Day, to the Pink Ribbon Market, Wairau Pride Week and Samoan Language Week.

The Marlborough campus events have attracted a diverse range of learners and kaimahi to take part:

  • from standing together against bullying on Pink Shirt Day, whilst simultaneously celebrating International Nursing Day with free blood pressure checks!

  • to celebrating Samoan Language Week with delicious kai, and Wairau Pride week with rainbow balloons! There was also the very popular Pink Ribbon Market, to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer.

Check out the photos below for a snapshot of all the fun and whanaungatanga | connection enjoyed in Wairau over the last few months.

Semester 2 is set to be just as jam-packed with the Wairau Mihi Whakatau(external link) and Matariki kai celebration(external link) all in Week 1!
