No experience necessary.

This course is suitable for anyone interested in Chinese language and culture. Starting at the beginning, you don't need any prior knowledge of the Chinese Language.

Most students will stay in this class for 2 terms (10 weeks) before progressing to Beginners 2.

Entry requirements | Domestic students

If you are a full-time secondary school student, NMIT is able to enrol you if you meet all of the following:

are 16 years of age and over, and
attend this course outside of normal school hours, and
have obtained approval from your school principal (or approval from your home school supervisor if you are homeschooled).
