CGO601 Cargo Handling and Stowage

On completion of this course the students will apply their knowledge and skills to safely monitor cargo operations, loading, stowage, securing, care of cargo during the voyage and unloading:
• Assess, inspect and report defects and damages to cargo spaces, hatch covers and ballast tanks.
• Carriage of dangerous goods.
