NMIT and Te Pūkenga

Continuing strong: NMIT's programmes, services and partnerships remain unaffected by Government changes.
2024 April Computing & IT no comment

The Government is in the process of disestablishing Te Pūkenga, which NMIT will remain a legal part of until the disestablishment is finalised in 2025. Rest assured, NMIT’s delivery of programmes, learner support, and connections with iwi, industry, and communities will continue as strongly as ever.

At NMIT, we are committed to ensuring any organisational changes do not impact the delivery of programmes and training for our learners.

Learners will experience the same excellent training and pastoral care from NMIT, delivered in the same way as before - whether on campus, online or on-the-job.

Those graduating in 2024 will receive a qualification from NMIT | Te Pūkenga, which will remain a valid and accepted qualification in New Zealand and abroad.

We will keep our learners and community updated throughout the change process.
