The Applied Business Cirriculum Manager, Rae Perkins has a background in Education, Management and teaching.
Following graduation from Otago University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Management, Rae taught English Language in Japan and International Relations and Entrepreneurship in Sweden. Rae enjoyed her last few years abroad as the Vice Principal of Viktor Rydberg High School in Stockholm.
Rae has been a part of Team NMIT for over 10 years as a Student Learning Advisor, Programme Coordinator, Deputy Head of Department and has a passion for supporting students in the entirety of their learning journey.
In her current role as Curriculum Manager, she guides and supports tutors and business staff to create an environment at NMIT where quality education can flourish. Her motivation has been to ensure learners get the best NMIT has to offer.
Her favourite day of each academic year is celebrating with our graduates knowing as they walk across our stage they are work and world ready for their futures.
