Youth pathways

Whether you're planning to complete your Year 13 studies, or have left school early we'll work with you and your whānau to kick-start your career and support you all the way.

If you are a student in Year 11 or above, you can get a kick-start on your career with practical experience on-campus or at a workplace and complete NCEA at school simultaneously.

NMIT offers secondary school students the opportunity to explore a variety of vocational pathways by experiencing and studying at the tertiary level. It's a great way to assist with choosing your school subjects for the following year, deciding what to study in the future or possible first steps towards working.

Check out the information below and chat with your school's Careers and Transition Department to learn more about these opportunities.
