This course is ideal for all people working in a food business or the food industry.
This short course is designed for those already working in the food industry who are looking to gain knowledge and a qualification in Food Safety.
You will need to be working within the food preparation industry because there is a work-based assessment as part of the course.
On the one day course you will be given a list of tasks associated with food safety. Your employer will need to sign off and verify you have completed the list and then you will have successfully completed the course.
There is also a small theory assessment on the day.
On successful completion of the short course you will have unit standard: 27955 Apply food safety practices in a food-related business (version 3).
