Chinese Culture

China has 3,500 years of written history and Chinese culture is one of the world’s oldest and richest cultures. In addition to the People’s Republic of China, Chinese is also spoken in the Chinese communities in Southeast Asian countries and other countries in the world where Chinese immigrants reside. China is increasingly playing an influential role in the global economy and it is one of the largest trading partners of New Zealand.
