This polemical series - RED - satirically considers the relationship between mankind and the natural world in regards to climate change and the loss of ecosystems. Humanities’ greed and consumerist attitudes at the expense of the survival of our planet and sentient beings is critiqued through a fictitious fashion label styled like a fashion advertisement. The product ‘’for sale is fur clothing made from at risk animals: Brown Bear (Ursus arctos), Arctic Wolf (Canis lupus arctos), Tiger (Panthera tigris), Kea (Nestor notabilis).
“We will respond to the threat of climate change, knowing that the failure to do so would betray our children, and future generations”1 – Barak Obama.
