The following courses are available to you as part of the Intermediate Community Computing Programme: Word, Excel, Desktop Publishing, Database and MYOB.

These free online courses allow you to up-skill at your own pace, from anywhere you have an internet connection.

Enrolling in the courses gives you access to resources which are stored online. You will need a broadband connection and Microsoft Office 2003/2007/2010. To study MYOB you would need to use the NMIT computers or obtain a demonstration copy of the V19 software.

The programme is self-paced and there is limited support but all of the instruction manuals are step by step. The applications offered are:

  • MS Word (Intermediate)
  • MS Excel (Intermediate)
  • MS Publisher (Intermediate)
  • MS Access Database (Intermediate)
  • MYOB

You can request and pay for an assessment for any of this learning which will be recorded against your name at NZQA and be credited towards Bus Admin or Computing qualifications.
