Do you want to be able to:

  • Have the skills and knowledge to contribute to Ngā Toi projects, under some supervision, with whānau, hapū, iwi, and hapori; and to provide support in terms of their Ngā Toi development and aspirations 
  • Have the skills and knowledge to work in, or contribute to the Ngā Toi art form, practice and sector 
  • Be able to provide Ngā Toi art form in a range of contexts for whānau, hapū, iwi, and hapori with Ngā Toi projects?

This programme is for you. Learn in a supportive and safe learning environment where anyone can experience and learn Ngā Toi consistent with te reo me ona tikanga Māori.

Through this new programme you will learn to:

  • Explore own Ngā Toi work and the work of others to identify artistic variation and evolution;
  • Achieve the objectives of project briefs to produce art works across a range of Toi Māori;
  • Demonstrate introductory art form practices in artistic and creative processes, tikanga, and project management, across a range of Toi Māori.
