If you are a HASANZ-registered health and safety professional, this is a WorkSafe recognised path for you to become a SafePlus Assessor.

You will learn and demonstrate the skills and knowledge needed to deliver the SafePlus Onsite Assessment and Advisory Service.

The micro-credential can be completed online over a period of 12 weeks, making it convenient and accessible for busy professionals.

On completion, assessors will be able to support organisations in implementing strategies for ongoing change using SafePlus, to make work safer and healthier in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

SafePlus is complementary to other health and safety assessment tools. Its focus is on behaviours, beliefs and attitudes within a business that shape how work occurs.

"The focus on culture, how we work… that’s how we can fail, even if the policies are there."

"I believe you’re not going to change until you can change behaviours...this assessment can do that."

Feedback from SafePlus assessed businesses.
