Become a Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant.

If you are looking to become a Chartered Accountant or a Certified Practising Accountant you would choose to study the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting.

This programme contains all the papers that you need to complete the academic part of your training.

NMIT's Bachelor of Commerce, our undergraduate degree programme, is accredited by the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) and Certified Practicing Accountants Australia (CPA).

How do I become CA ANZ or CPA qualified?

Before you enrol at NMIT you need to present your degree to either CA ANZ or CPA Australia who will inform you of the papers that you need to study to complete the academic part of your qualification.

NMIT will then draw up a personalised study plan for you. Most Graduate Diplomas take between 12 and 18 months to complete depending on the exemptions given by CA ANZ or CPA Australia.

Once you have completed your qualification at NMIT, you will go on to fulfil work experience and technical papers, which together take another three years, in order to become fully qualified.
