Graduates will be able to provide a professional service to a broad range of career guidance clients in a variety of workplace environments such as schools, employment agencies, personnel departments, work broking agencies, public and private sector, not for profit, and private consultancy. This programme seeks to honour the partnership between Tangata Whenua and Tangata Tiriti under Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

The Diploma in Advanced Career Guidance is delivered as an online programme from Skills Update Training and Education Group, Auckland Mangere site.

It is supported by scheduled workshops and video conference sessions which enable opportunities for students to engage with learning facilitators and other students. Workshops are held in Mangere, Nelson and possibly other centres and while attendance is voluntary, they are a valuable addition to the online programme of study. You will be advised of the workshop schedule at the start of the programme.
