If you want to enter the maritime industry or have been part of a fishing crew and want to move to a role where a Maritime New Zealand Advanced Deckhand – Fishing certificate may be required, then this qualification is for you.

Through this qualification, you will gain the skills and knowledge you need to work under general supervision in coastal, offshore and unlimited operational limits as specified in the Maritime New Zealand Seafarer Certification and Operational Limits Framework.
