NET601 Practical Network Development

This course develops the student's knowledge in the field of computer networking and data communications principles and technologies. With emphasis on the medium sized corporate environment, it introduces the student to the Network Development Life Cycle model, and also offers an opportunity for practical experience in analysing, designing and implementing a Microsoft™- based network system. This practical work is related to the concepts of system security, performance and reliability, with the objective of learning how to set up an efficient and effective network system.
