IBS804 Managing in a Globalised World

This course enables students to investigate how to manage a diverse and mobile workforce in the global marketplace. Students will gain an understanding of the New Zealand culture, including the Treaty of Waitangi, and how this contributes positively when conducting international business. Further, students will understand how different cultures operate and how to successfully navigate in a multicultural environment. The course explores the impact of cultural differences on leadership, motivation, decision making, communication and human resource management practices.
