BSK605 Applied Professional Practice

Students will develop the knowledge and skills to analyse the impacts of social, legal, political and economic policies on social work practice in Aotearoa New Zealand. Current and topical issues in social work practice will be explored and analysed. Students will support their learning through experiences gained in voluntary work. The aim of this course is to build off the theoretical foundations and practice principles of Year One and demonstrate integration of learning.
