This course aims to develop knowledge and awareness of colonisation and the relationships between Māori and colonial settlers at the time of Te Tiriti o Waitangi/The Treaty of Waitangi. Furthermore the course aims to provide an understanding of te ao Māori through the application of te reo and tikanga Māori.
