Three certificates from one free programme

Tracey Leader - Certificate in Community Support Services

I now work for Nelson Nursing Services. When I applied they were happy to hear I had my Certificate in Community Support Services (Care for the Older Person). I completed the certificate alongside working in my previous job. This definitely helped me get the job. The tutor, Kay, is very supportive and gave me a lot of confidence about what I needed to do. She was always just a phone call away if I had a problem and would help guide me through . It was tight a few times with study, work and family but the tutor was always willing to help. She wanted me to succeed as much as I did.

It was definitely a bonus that it is free. I also received three certificates - a workplace first aid one as well as the certificate for the programme and an NZQA certificate for the core competencies.
