Early Learning Centre and Arts student collaboration
Ensuring our students have industry experience and are work ready leads to some innovative collaborations.
It’s the second year Bachelor of Arts and Media students have teamed up with Campus Corner Early Learning Centre, and Arts and Media tutor Jess Shirley says it been a great experience for both.
“Our students go in and take photographs of the tamariki for the centre and their parents. Last year they used the images on their website, and one of our students also did some additional photography work for them,” she says.
Jess says the tamariki love having the students visit and the collaboration is valued highly.
