Tourism graduates host Tourism students on site visits

"I love that where ever we go on industry visits we are met by, and hear stories from graduates of tourism and travel programmes at NMIT."

The comment was made by a Tourism and Travel student when they were inspired after being hosted by Tourism graduates across the region.

"They give you a hug and speak highly of their training."

Students visited Cable Bay Adventure Park and also Nelson Airport where graduate, Katie, is a Training Manager and graduate, Sharona, is a JetStar Supervisor.

The class also visited the Rutherford Hotel where graduate, Kayla, now works and Tahunanui Holiday Park where graduate, Kim, is the Office Administrator and Front of House reception.

Monaco Hotel has graduate, Sanifer, in Guest Services and the Nelson I-site has several NMIT graduates including Manager, Renee, and you can read more about graduate, Lisa's, experiences since graduating in her story.
