Passing of Matua Joe Paul

Kātahi kua hinga tetahi tōtara i te wao nui o Tane.

It is with sadness that we confirm the passing of Matua Joe Paul early this morning 22 February 2018.

Matua Joe Paul will be taken to Whakatu Marae however details of his service are yet to be released.

Our thoughts and condolences are with Aunty Priscilla and their whanau at this sad time.

Matua Joe Paul, our Kaumatua, will be greatly missed by everyone here at NMIT, but this is a time to rejoice, remember and be grateful that this unbelievable character was part of our lives.
