There are many accommodation options for students in Nelson and Blenheim. If you are an International student further accommodation information is available.  

Nelson Campus

Accommodation options for students studying at the Nelson Campus include: on campus student accommodation (Nikau Apartments), private board, flatting, B&B’s or hostels. The Nelson campus is close to the heart of Nelson’s city centre. Marlborough Campus  

The Marlborough campus is situated about 20 minutes walk from Blenheim city centre. Accommodation options for students studying at the Marlborough Campus include: private board, flatting, B&Bs or hostels. Near New On-Campus Apartments (Nelson Campus only)

For students living away from home for the first time or for those from outside the Nelson region, Nikau Apartments are an excellent choice. 

• Live with other students in 1, 2, 3 and 4-bedroom apartments.
• 3 blocks each containing 14 apartments (42 apartments in total).
• Secure, modern, comfortable and study-friendly environment.
• Your own furnished apartment with a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen to cook your own food.
• Shared laundry facilities.
• Situated on campus; only a few minutes walking distance to city centre and restaurants.
• Costs range from NZ$145 per week per person for a 4-bedroom apartment, to $180 per week for a 1-bedroom unit.

How much will it cost?

* Prices quoted are for a single person.  A couple (or two singles) sharing a room will pay $210 between them, whether living in a studio, or a 2, 3 or 4 bedroom apartment.
