John Inglis - Business Lecturer
John teaches both Marketing and Management papers on the degree and diploma at the NMIT business school. He has over 20 years' management experience in business, working in a wide range of Inglis family owned businesses including agriculture, horticulture and tourism. John is a company director with his own business Inglis NZ Ltd T/A Astrolabe Fashions having previously beena  director of companies such as CRT Horticulture and marketing manager of Happy Valley Adventures during the inception of the Skywire�. John is degree qualified in accounting and marketing and is currently undertaking post graduate study. He is also an internationally published author with his most recent work being chapters on business ethics and corporate responsibility and business structures and strategies in a new management textbook Organisations and Management: Theory and Applications. John was a judge  of the 2007 NMIT Business Awards in association with the Nelson Tasman Chamber of Commerce.

Keith Coman - Marketing Lecturer
Keith Coman grew up in Rhodesia and studied at Rhodes University where he completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree. After declining an opportunity to learn how to arrange ladies' underwear on the shelves of a clothing chain, he seized an offer from Ford South Africa to join their Sales and Marketing department. Keith spent six years with Ford, first heading up their marketing research team, before entering the dealer development department. He also completed his Masters degree through Rhodes and established a sideline business. In 1982, Keith became a marketing lecturer at Rhodes. Keith moved to New Zealand in 1995 and took up his role at NMIT's School of Business and Computing. Outside of work he dabbles in military history and is "compulsively addicted" to classic car ownership and restoration.

Bev Webster - Business Administration Tutor
Bev Webster has taught business on NMIT's very successful Business Administration programme for the past 11 years. She has also worked in accounting and administration positions in businesses both locally and overseas. Bev has maintained her industry knowledge by consulting with local businesses and providing onsite computer training for businesses such as TNL and Sealord. Bev is a registered teacher, holding a Level 7 Diploma in Specialist Teaching for Technology, an Advanced Commercial Teaching Diploma, as well as qualifications in Business Administration and Adult Teaching. Bev says she loves the variety of students she teaches at NMIT and enjoys seeing people achieve.

Ryan Clarke - IT Lecturer
Ryan Clarke is a lecturer in Information Technology and his expertise lies in the area of internet and network technologies. He is involved in implementing web-based solutions both doemstically and internationally as a contractor to HelloPages Limited. Ryan's passion is to help businesses find the synergy between their organisation and the online world. He has researched IT provisioning for IT students and presented his findings at the National Advisory Committee on Computing Qualifications (NACCQ) conference in Wellington and is a published author in the computing journal.

Bron Mogridge - Business and Office Administration Programme Coordinator
Bron Mogridge has over 20 years of experience in the teaching and administration fields both in Australia and New zealand including roles with the Education Department in Western Australia, personal assistant to a solicitor and administration work for local businesses. To complement her teaching she is heavily involved with the Marlborough group of Association of Administrative Professionals New Zealand (AAPNZ), is a Director of AAPNZ PD Ltd and last year was awarded Member of the Year as well as gaining AAPNZ Certification. Bron has diplomas in secondary and tertiary teaching, a degree and post-graduate certificate from Massey University and in 2006 completed her Master of Teaching through the University of Otago. Bron was part of the team that introduced the successful employment scholarship programme to Marlborough, which now has 21 businesses involved. Bron also oversees the delivery of business computing skills courses, including MYOB training through the Community Computing Centre.

Carole Crawford - Business and Adult Teaching Lecturer
Carole Crawford has worked in the tertiary sector for over 14 years in the UK and for the past 6 years in New Zealand. Outside of education she has business management experience across the private, public and voluntary sectors. These include roles such as: assistant director of Ty Isaf Activity Centre in Wales; assistant manager of Carmarthen District Leisure Centre; centre manager for The National Trust, Gower involving project management to establish substantial new visitor attraction; and, strategic leader and manager of a leading edge learning centre project at Somerset College, UK. Since migrating to New Zealand in 1999, Carole and her partner have established their own niche SME, Nellie Product Ltd, and initiated four new tourism products. Carole's consultancy work has involved contracts with the NZ Family Planning Association, The Pier Cafe and a strategic/development plan for Picton's Historical Society, as well as development work on qualifications with the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. Carole is active on a number of local community boards and trusts. Her qualifications include a Masters in Leadership and Education Management; a post-graduate Diploma in Tourism and a Bachelor of Education Honours Degree. Carole is currently the Foundation Skills Coordinator at the Marlborough Campus.

Jillian Redwood - Business Programme Coordinator and Lecturer
Jillian has been involved with business administration and education for over 25 years both in New Zealand and the UK including roles with Nelson Hospital, Murchison Area School, business manager at a private practice in Blenheim and executive assistant to the Director of Radiology, St Thomas' Hospital, London. Jillian has been involved with a number of community projects including a human resources project for Marlborough Girls' College, and was an active partner in Topp/Redwood Farm Partnership for a number of years and a chairperson on Wairau Valley school board of trustees. Jillian holds a Bachelor of Education, Diplomas for Information Systems and Technology and Office Management and is currently completing post-graduate study in Educational Administration. Jillian coordinates the business studies programmes at NMIT including the Bachelor of Commerce, New Zealand Diploma in Business and Business Administration and Computing. She enjoys facilitating the links between students and local employers and loves hearing success stories from graduates.

Pauline Carson - Programme Leader, Business Training 
Pauline Carson is the Programme Leader of Business Training at NMIT. Pauline has over 10 years of experience delivering interactive customer service training to corporate clients such as: Talleys, MTA, Houston Motors, NMDHB and Heslops, and presents for the Business Development Company. She is an executive member of the National Business Administration Forum and consults with a wide range of local businesses and polytechnics in the area of Business Administration. Pauline also holds membership with the Association of Administrative Professionals of New Zealand and is a member of the local branch of HRINZ. Pauline arranges business training for groups and individuals in the areas of: business writing; computing; customer service; telephone skills; and, any other related business topic.
