If you like people, engines and aircraft and you want to work at the cutting edge of modern technology, then training for a career as an aircraft engineer would be a great investment for your future.

The aircraft maintenance programme is a two-year programme offered through NMIT's Marlborough campus, with training courses located at RNZAF Base Woodbourne. Experienced engineers are able to study for their AME Licensing via our online programme.

Students are offered the opportunity to live on base while  training and working alongside Air Force personnel and commercial operators. As a student, you will receive professional, practical tuition from qualified, experienced engineers and technical experts. You will have the opportunity to work on real planes gaining relevant, practical experience.
