Our staff of highly qualified aviation engineers have recognised teaching qualifications, which ensures that teaching is of the highest standard. NMIT is one of just two providers in New Zealand offering an aircraft maintenance engineering pre-employment training package. Aircraft engineering programmes are delivered at RNZAF Base Woodbourne.

Safe Air Miles Hunter Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is designed to assist students, who are enrolled in Year Two of NMIT's Certificate in Aeronautical Maintenance Engineering, with course fees and to generate and provide an opportunity through Safe Air for recipients to enhance their understanding of the aviation industry. $1000

Fairhall Scholarship

Two scholarships will be awarded to assist local students from the Marlborough region who might not otherwise be able to afford a tertiary education and/or industry based courses as these relate to the rural sector. The award will be for $7,500 each paid out over three years at $2,500 per anum, subject to submitting details of satisfactory academic achievement and future study intention.
