Applications for Full time Programmes

New Zealand and Australian citizens and permanent residents applying for full time programmes should follow the steps below.

Please Note: Full time programmes may have a preferred entry level or a selection process, particularly if there are limited places. Interviews may be conducted one-to-one or in a group. Please feel free to contact us to confirm specific details.

1. Go to the online application form or download and print the PDF version of the application form. Please complete all sections of the form. 
2. Send us the completed form and accompanying documents (where specified).
3. We will acknowledge your application/enrolment and contact you if we require any further information.
4. We select applicants (you may be asked for more details or to attend an interview).
5. We contact you about the outcome.
6. We process successful enrolments and send you a Confirmation Pack, which includes: confirmation letter,  Secure Your Enrolment form, scholarship information & Studylink information.
7. You complete the Secure Your Enrolment form and return to NMIT within the time advised on your confirmation letter.
8. You will receive an enrolment invoice.
9. You arrange your fee payment.
10. You start your studies. You will be advised about the start date, time and venue of your programme. Most programmes have an orientation day at the start of the programme - your School will tell you about this.

Waiting lists: limited places are available on most programmes. Once this limit is reached, applicants may go onto a waiting list.
