This programme combines both practical and vocational skills with real life hands-on experiences. The programme is designed to offer students a taste of the range of trades and primary industry-based programmes offered at NMIT.

The programme is designed to meet TEC Youth Guarantee programme criteria, and is also available to students who are not eligible for the Youth Guarantee scheme.

This programme is designed to provide students with relevant vocational skills that can pathway them into entry-level work or further study. Graduates will then be able to identify their chosen career path and be able to pathway into these programmes.

Students choosing further study would be able to pathway into Aviation, Automotive, Aquaculture, Carpentry, Conservation (Trainee Ranger), Horticulture, Maritime and Superyacht Crew, Mechanical Engineering or Viticulture programmes.
