PDFEnglish Language Programmes 2012

Beginner, Elementary and Pre-Intermediate Levels

  • Increase your basic English skills in all areas using interesting materials.
  • Our tutors will show you strategies for learning language so you can study more independently and make progress quickly.
  • You will develop a portfolio of your work with help from your tutor, so you can focus on developing the vocabulary, skills and knowledge that are most important for you.
  • Tutors will spend  time with you regularly to discuss your progress, give you feedback about your work and give you support and advice.
  • You will also develop other important skills, like using computers and online learning material, how to work effectively in a group, how to make presentations, how to make the most of the local community and how to use the internet for English study. 

Entry Requirements

All Applicants

  • English level from Beginner to Pre-Intermediate
  • Literacy in first language
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Be a permanent New Zealand resident or hold a valid study visa

Students learn all disciplines of English language through a communicative teaching style. Each class will cover speaking, reading, writing, listening, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Courses are tailored to meet individual student's needs and help them meet their learning goals. Our courses are assessed throughout the term and at end of term assessment.
