NMIT’s Hospitality and Wellbeing programmes offer training in hospitality, cookery, fitness, hairdressing and beauty that directly relates to employment within those industries. We respond to national and international training needs in the development of the programmes on offer and our programmes emphasis applied learning focussing on delivering service to customers or clients.

Our staff have excellent backgrounds in professional roles within industry to ensure current and relevant training to students. Training is available to those wishing to enter industry, or those who are already working and want to upskill or further their career.

NMIT is the exclusive Academia Barilla Centre for New Zealand where students can study Academia Barilla’s ‘Fundamentals of Italian Regional Gastronomy’.
