NMIT’s Hospitality and Wellbeing programmes offer training in fitness, hospitality, cookery, hairdressing and beauty that directly relates to employment within those industries. We respond to national and international training needs in the development of the programmes on offer and our programmes emphasis applied learning focussing on delivering service to customers or clients.

Our staff have excellent backgrounds in professional roles within industry to ensure current and relevant training to students. Training is available to those wishing to enter industry, or those who are already working and want to upskill or further their career.

Bachelor of Sport and Recreation (AUT)
Graduates of the Diploma in Applied Fitness may transfer to the AUT Bachelor of Sport and Recreation (available at NMIT's Nelson campus), with less than one and a half years' study necessary to complete.

Diploma in Applied Fitness
