Customised and Workplace Training

Want to begin or improve industry training in your workplace but not sure where to start?
We can assist with:

Customised In-house Training
Every business is unique. With customised training, the special characteristics of your organisation can be incorporated in the training provided for staff.

The benefits of customised in-house training include:
  • It's designed to suit your needs and can be delivered where and when you need it.
  • It's specific to your company and can be tailored to your in-house systems
  • Several staff are able to learn the same skills at the same time
  • In-house training can help to build team morale and commitment to culture change

Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
At NMIT we recognise that sometimes you may have gained skills and knowledge through your experience in the workplace or from previous study. If you have studied at another tertiary institute or have recognised work experience in the area you plan to study, then you may be eligible to have your previous learning recognised and credited towards your course of study.

Several NMIT qualifications can also be credited towards further study at other universities or institutes of technology, for example credits gained towards NMIT's Diploma in Applied Science may also be credited towards AUT's Bachelor of Applied Science.

Please contact the programme leader in your chosen area of study for further information.
