Costs and Funding of Local Government

Researchers:

Colin Scott, lecturer in conjunction with Dr Jonathan Barrett, Lecturer

Project Summary:

We are currently investigating how Jürgen Habermas’s vision of democratic discourse provides a theoretical framework to consider requirements of the Local Government Act 2002, and focusing on community participation regarding the costs and funding of local authorities' activities.
